Practical and very beautiful at the same time. It has a good size and weight, allowing for better and more consistent results than I was getting from previous tools.
It arrived perfectly packaged and it's a very portable press. I'm still fighting with the ink consistency and the best paper to use, but I'm happy with the first trial.

When the Ritualis arrived, the box had been ripped open at the corner during shipping and some of the styrofoam had spilled out. I was afraid that it might be broken, but the packaging and the workmanship saved it. It operates smoothly! I love it!
Excellent Results on my first prints with this press. I am using a thicker rug pad instead of the provided "felt". Getting wonderful prints.

I had used barens for about two years before I found this press and since I am not using fine paper (e.g. Awagami) most of the time I had many misprints, which was frustrating. The press changed not only my success rate, it is also very helpful for printing older, uneven blocks perfectly AND it is small enough so I can take it to my workshops. I am actually considering getting a second one because the students like it, too :o)

I found a thread on Reddit where there was a great comparison of presses. I had originally chosen the Pookie Press, but then I found a comparison with this one and decided at the last minute to go for it instead. No regrets about the purchase at all. The press is really solid with no movement in any of the parts. I highly recommend it!
